We have developed and evolved a range of learning and development programmes that take into account the wide variety of learning needs of the many different roles across our organisation. Everyone from general assistants right through to board members benefit from role appropriate training, whether that’s essential behaviour skills, working with others, technical training and everything in-between. Whatever you need to do the job and do it well, including your own personal development programmes and exploring your leadership skills, we will provide it.
Beginning with the full Makro induction, you’ll be encouraged to create your own Personal Development Plan (PDP). Your PDP is your career map, created and driven by you – you know where or how far you want to go. We can help you get there. Create a PDP that truly reflects your skills, experience and ambitions, and there’s no limit to where it can take you.
In your first few weeks, you’ll also benefit from a buddy, who can answer your general questions and help make sure you’re on the right track.
Beyond that, and with our support, your development is up to you. What we can also offer are yearly appraisals which help us to see how far you’ve come, where you are and if there are any development opportunities that might be suitable, whether that’s in Makro UK, or internationally with the Metro Group.
